Alexander Burke Troyer was born on Thursday, July 16, 2009 at 11:43am. He weighed in at 7 lbs 10 oz and is 21" long. And I will tell you that he is absolutely gorgeous!!! I won't go into details now because it's been a long couple of days, but I will say that I was scheduled for an induction Thursday morning at 6am. I woke up that morning having some contractions and standing in front of the hospital waiting for Chris to park the car, my water broke! Perfect timing. We checked in the hospital at 6 and had a baby by noon. Not bad for my first time!
We made it home today about 1:00pm and we're all doing well. Alexander seems to be settling in nicely to home. I think we're all much happier to be out of the hospital.

Alexander is just perfect and we are so happy for the three of you. The photos and videos brought tears of joy. Thank you for sharing all of them. We look forward to seeing more and to seeing you.
