WEEKEND IN DALLAS

Chris and I spent this past Memorial Day weekend in Dallas, TX. On Sunday we met some friends of ours at Lone Star Park in Grand Prairie, the local horse racing track. It was not Churchill Downs or Keeneland, but it was very nice. We had a great time losing money and cheering on the horses. There was also a fantastic buffet, which is wonderful to a pregnant woman!! That night we stayed in Arlington right across the street from the the Rangers Ballpark. The Yankees were in town so we went to the game on Monday. We had a blast, but were so stupid and didn't bring any sunscreen. We thought that it was supposed to rain on and off all day, but of course it didn't and we both got sunburned. We had such a nice weekend. I'm so glad that Chris and I do these types of things and I know that they are going to change here in a few weeks, but hopefully we'll still get to go and do some things. They'll probably be just a little bit different types of outings!

I'm now officially 32 weeks pregnant and feeling it. Today at work Raisin was kicking up into my ribcage and down onto my bladder at the same time. It was quite uncomfortable! He must be running out of room and all I can think of is how I have 8 more weeks. I have no idea where he's going to go? There just isn't much more room for him! I guess he'll figure it out and I'll suffer.

  1. I love the hat dichotomy in the last pic. Funny that the Booo-Socks weren't playing though.

  2. What a fun weekend for you. Baseball, fun food, and ponies help make everything good. Remind me to share with you a theory or two concerning your higher sensitivity to the sun besides the forgotten sunscreen. I hope the crispiness heals quickly for both of you. I can't believe this is your last work week. I hope it goes well. I am sure you will thoroughly enjoy your time counting down to Raisin's arrival. You look absolutely beautiful and happy! That extra kicking in two directions gets especially tricky when it causes you to laugh out loud while all this is going on simultaneously. Sweet memories. I love you both and miss you terribly. Thanks for keeping us updated!
